Unni Vacation to Wisconsin

The Unni's had a vacation in Madison and Lake Geneva this year, so Rohan and his cousins had lots of fun picking strawberries at Jen-Ehr farms, hanging out together, and having fun on the beach in Lake Geneva. We all had so much fun!!!

A day in the Park/Rohan's first day of daycare

Rohan's first day of daycare was happy and sad for us.  We were happy because of all the new experiences and fun he would have, as well as how much he would learn about the world, and interacting with other children.  On the other hand, we no longer got to see him for 8+ hours per day each, and he does so much now that we don't know about.

It's now been almost 2 months since he started, and he has lots of fun, and doesn't cry when Daddy drops him off.  One of the most memorable moments of his first days at daycare was his obsession with the child-height sink in the clasroom. He loved to turn it on and off so much, that the teachers had to turn off the water flow to the pipe.

Also here are some pictures of a day in the park, where Rohan blew the seeds from a dandelion for the first time.

Today, Shani gave Rohan Haugen his first haircut. The change in appearance was amazing. Check out the photos to see for yourself.

The Journey The Movie (Sancharram)

Ligy Pullappally (my sister-in-law) has written and directed a truly beautiful film, called Sancharram, or (translated to English) The Journey. It won an award at the Chicago International Film Festival, and she recently negotiated a distribution deal with Wolfe. It's currently making the film festival circuit, so be sure to check it out when it comes to a city near you.
